Should Hillary Clinton be president?
|
Hillary is strong and focused. She is passionate about America. People who love her have taken the time to learn about her commitment. People who hate her are only basing their opinions upon the negative comments from negative newscasters. Obama has charisma but no real exxperience or real plan. It's great to push hope....but Hillary does it with a plan. It's been a hundred year battle. Hillary is every woman's mother, sister, or daughter. She is our keymaster to a very heavy gate! Go Hillary. We're behind you!
Posted by cramer111 on 2/9/2008 Kudos: 13 Censures: 13 She's the most experienced candidate. She's ready to lead and create change.
Posted by Anonymous on 2/4/2008 Kudos: 10 Censures: 12 She is the more brilliant and more experienced candidate! GO HILLARY!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by maxwelleq on 6/2/2008 Kudos: 6 Censures: 8 She is the best prepared, and the most knowledgeable to help our families and our children. She has the deepest understanding, and a proven history of working for our children. She has shown by her actions even prior to political office that she is determined to improve things for everyone
Posted by Alethia on 2/22/2008 Kudos: 12 Censures: 12 Regarding to being like G.W. Bush the Adolph Hitler of the U.S.A.,going above the law to get what he wants. That is far far from it. She is very strong and independent. And has a mind of her own that cares about the american public. Most of the time she couldn't get anything done was because of the republican party. So therefore she does NOT!!!!! hang on Bills coat-tail. She will do what ever it takes to make this country better!
Posted by linc48 on 3/4/2008 Kudos: 12 Censures: 12 Hillary Clinton has the experience to take over the office of President on Day-1. She is the strongest advocate of Universal Health care we have ever had. It would be exciting for us to have the first highly intelligent and capable woman in the white house!
Posted by Anonymous on 2/18/2008 Kudos: 11 Censures: 11 How she has run this campaign has shown she should be nowhere near the white house. She had the name, support, money, everything to wrap up the nominee. But not only she blow everything she had going for her, she damaged the democratic party when it had a good chance to take the white house. She talks of Obamas words yet what she has shown is that is all she has.
Posted by Micaanab on 3/14/2008 Kudos: 11 Censures: 13 She has been a terrific Senator for New York and I have helped her in her campaisn. I now think when Hillary is elected, this Country will rebound economically and we will stop having our soilders killed in Iraq. Some say she is harsh and tough on people ---thank goodness she will take a stand and not mush mouth about people who denigrate America from the pulpit. The race thing is out here in the grass roots voters and will always be as long as there are pick-up trucks, guns in the window, and chew tobacco.GO HILLARY
Posted by peckwalk on 3/22/2008 Kudos: 11 Censures: 11 The woman is a rock, I'd choose her to guide me thjrough hell and back she is that strong! I am proud to be an American because this country has produced someone like her and we should all try to get her votes counted in florida and Michigan that the Obama people are trying to steal. She has the experience, the respect of world leaders, the stamina, the intelligence and THE GOOD JUDGEMENT, JUST LOOK AT THE WAY SHE WEATHERED THE GRABAGE THAT WAAS FLUNG AT HER BY THE REPUBLICANS, how magnificently she stood up to them and beat them! She'll beat them in November again guys, get rid of Obama!
Posted by lee on 3/24/2008 Kudos: 11 Censures: 12 By garbage (note the Correct spelling), do you mean the truth? Thats all we need is "Billary" leading us, or haven't you noticed. She can't tell the truth from one day to the next. Now she, and her loyal, and blind followers have resorted to nit-picking everything Obama says. Why doesn't she clean up her own act, like lying about the sniper attacks (maybe the little girl who gave her the flowers had a gun hidden in her dress). After Bill, we certainly don't need another lying Clinton. They make me ashamed to be from the South. A Southern Repulican, my vote is for Obama.
Posted by Anonymous on 4/13/2008 Kudos: 11 Censures: 10 SHE CARES FOR THE WORKING PEOPLE AND THE POOR SHE KNOWS THE RICH IS RIDEING ON TOP OF US SHE KNOWS MORE ABOUT FREE TRADE AND JOBS LEAVING THAN OBAMA DOES AND THE CHOCLATE MINT FACTORY IS LEAVING. SHE WILL STOP THE TAX BREAKS THE HUGE OVERSEAS CO'S ARE GETTING AND I BELEAVE SHE WILL START A IF IT IS NOT MADE IN AMERICA WE DONT NEED IT
Posted by OBIEMAMA on 4/11/2008 Kudos: 11 Censures: 11 She has my vote, that's for sure! Kids, Healthcare, Economy, Foreign Policy, her views are just more articulate renditions of mine. I am a nurse and a grandma raising grandkids. And an aging flower child who saw too many friends die and get maimed in the FIRST Vietnam! Wake up Americans, Hillary is on our side!
Posted by pattyb54 on 4/20/2008 Kudos: 11 Censures: 11 Hillary has Experience...Hillary don't give up...Hillary is a winner...Hillary tells you How she will make CHANGES,not just talk of CHANGE... Hillary will be the next President of the United States of America 2008.You go Girl all the way till the End. "It Aien't over till it's over".........
Posted by Anonymous on 5/13/2008 Kudos: 12 Censures: 11 YES.........AT LEAST WE KNOW THE CLINTONS, GOOD /BAD/ OR INDIFFERENT WE KNOW NOTHING OR HAVE EVER HEARD OF OBAMA BEFORE NOW. DON'T THINK SO OBAMA...........
Posted by Anonymous on 5/13/2008 Kudos: 11 Censures: 15 Who do you think ran the Country when Bill Clinton was President. The Economy was Great! Who cares what happened between Bill and Monika... We all had MONEY to spend...
Posted by Anonymous on 5/13/2008 Kudos: 12 Censures: 11 What, may I ask, did Clinton (either one) do for the econmy? Bill Gates did more for the US economy than Bill (read Hillary, too) Clinton. Is one man that powerful? Name two, just two economic policies of the Clinton term which spurred the growth of the GDP.
Posted by Anonymous on 5/23/2008 Kudos: 7 Censures: 7 Hillary is 100% more experienced in every aspect than Obama. I have to go with experience and I hope it will be a democratic vote. I cannot at this time in the US vote for a political neophyte and spend the next four years watching him grow into the presidency. We cannot afford the luxury of raising a president with inflation, unemployment, the housing market, the war. . . I will vote for experience preferably Hillary but McCain will be the next choice.
Posted by Anonymous on 5/29/2008 Kudos: 7 Censures: 8 Without a doubt she's the most experienced candidate on either side. She knows how things work in Washington and will be able to use that knowledge to get things done for the average citizen.
Posted by kingperfect7 on 2/9/2008 Kudos: 11 Censures: 11 I have been a fan of Hillary since the Clintons first took office. Hillary has always worked hard for the good of the American people. Her fight for health care for all is one good example. The personal battles were large and she still overcame them. Her real humanitarian qualities stand out. I can picture Hillary visiting countries and getting the job done. I can see her strength when to say yes and when to say no. Hillary, I'm on your side. Sandy

35 Years of Service???
Grad from Law School 1972
Enters US Senate in 2001
During intervening 29 years, she is First Lady in AS and US for 20 years
Remaining years taken up by teaching a class, doing public service and charity work, and writing.
Looking at the above list where does 35 years of experience come from?
Seven (7) years in U.S. Senate and that is it!
Why did she misrepresent her years of experience?
Do we want another President that either misrepresents or lies to us???
Posted by Lao Tzu on 3/4/2008 Kudos: 11 Censures: 9 Lao Tzu, It takes people years to show who they are and since we have never had a woman president before Hillary had to take one step at a time and climb the ladder of sucess. We were not misrepresented in any way. She has the knowledge, strength, compassion and wisdom to become our next president. Please reconsider your opinion. Sandy
Posted by sandy on 8/26/2008 Kudos: 1 Censures: 1 she should not be president.I think alot of her so called experience is as first lady and she failed at that. She has lied adbout many things. What I would like to know about is the contrabution that they found out was from a waiter in new york for over a 100 thousand on a waiters wage.Lets not forget the white water mess. I will vote republican if she gets the nomination
Posted by okilady on 3/8/2008 Kudos: 18 Censures: 10 I do not trust, believe, or have confidence in her. She has put up with her husband's infidelities forever and because of it she demonstrates her ability to change is ZIP. Also she is riding on his coatails and has been forever. She claims to have so much experience but in reality she has not done that much. Just talk.
Also she is not liked and that is very important in a president. She comes off as being mad or angry with the world. Acts like a dictator-Adolph Hitler
Posted by jewel on 3/2/2008 Kudos: 11 Censures: 11 jewel, The fact that she put up with her husbands infidelities is a personal thing for them and not for people to judge them for their decisions. Hillary has the ability and strength to make changes that are important to our country. If you want McCain in office then vote for him but please don't down Hillary. People put her on the defensive because she is a woman and she is forced to defend herself on things she says. I say listen to her the first time and look at the circumstances around her. I feel that Hillary would make the best president because of all her experiences.
Posted by sandy on 8/26/2008 Kudos: 1 Censures: 1 I would agree that Hillary has been exposed to the inner working of the Presidential office, however, the only thing that shows me is that she and Bill had pillow talk.
For me, she is sooooo representative of the status quo in the federal government and that just will not cut it for the coming years. I believe that she would be a very capable asset for Obama, however, she should not be given the nomination just because she has been there. If you look at the face of it, she has no more experience than does Barack Obama in the ability to take on the political factors of the World.
Posted by Cherokeebandit on 5/30/2008 Kudos: 10 Censures: 6 cherokeebandit, Because of all the trials is her life Hillary has faced, she has very much experience in law, white house, marriage trials, senator, and many more. She used those experiences to become a more knowledgable and strong person. She has had many obsticles in her life and she has dealt with them. Hillary has what it takes to be the kind of president our country needs.
Posted by sandy on 8/26/2008 Kudos: 1 Censures: 1 No. We do not need any of her dirty tactics and lies in office. She goes which ever way the wind blows: remember when said super delegates were very important and they were going to determine the winner? Now that shes losing, she says they dont matter. Now MI and FL are important. Recall, she agreed that both states should be penalized. Furthermore, She is losing in every category, pledge delegates, super delegates, states won and the pop vote, why should she be president? Because she thinks she should? Come on this is democracy, for the people by the people and the people have spoken Obama 08
Posted by Danielle08 on 5/19/2008 Kudos: 8 Censures: 8 She will do whatever it takes to be President? Yeah, that sounds like Karl Rove, the very same guy she has railed against for 7 years. Ahhhh, the hypocrisy.
Isn't it wonderful that after over a decade of crying about the abuse of the right, that she can now be just like them. Anyone who becomes like their enemy instead of being better than their enemy is not fit to be President. What's next? Is she going to adopt Al Qaeda tactics? Oh that's right, she just sends out pictures to drudge to make people think Obama is an Islamic Fundamentalist. Gee, true leadership to be proud of.
Posted by Anonymous on 3/5/2008 Kudos: 11 Censures: 10 Anonymous, Hillary wants to be president all for the right reasons. The fight for this office requires knowledge and the ability to bring it out in the open. Hillary, and every other candidate knows this and fights for the office in the same way.I believe that no matter who you want in office you will find at least one issue you disagree with.
Posted by sandy on 8/26/2008 Kudos: 1 Censures: 1 No, Hillary can't be trusted as a matter of fact she never answered the phone in her own commercial the phone rung 6 times she never answered it, Hillary voted for the War, Hillary still continues to dodge questions about the War, Hillary still has not turned the tax return in & Hillary has no intentions of doing so, Hillary is a talker!
Posted by Trice on 3/8/2008 Kudos: 14 Censures: 10 Trice, Because she didn't answer her phone doesn't make her wrong for the job. Do you know given todays circumstances how she stands on the war? She opposes the war and she would act on what is good for our country. I don't know if she turned in her taxes yet but Hillary is a responsible person. She knows how to handle her personal situation. She always has.
Posted by sandy on 8/26/2008 Kudos: 1 Censures: 1 lol, I agree. I dunno how the majority of people support her on this site though.
Posted by Anonymous on 1/30/2008 Kudos: 11 Censures: 11 I so agree with (jewel) comments. You said it best. She is a promise of lies and everything she claims she done has be proven that she lied. WOW how could people not see she only want the votes from the superdelegates as if our votes don't matter. But people still vote for her. NOT ME!!!! I suggest for everyone that like her visit DICK MORRIS web-site he knows he well and the connection with HUMA ABEDINE?? HMM
Posted by DIaneT on 3/18/2008 Kudos: 11 Censures: 11 DianeT,I respect your opinion but disagree with you. There has been many times Hillary had been accused of something. Hillary felt she had to defend herself by going on tv and setting the story straight. Hillary has been attacked because she is a woman and the ones that attacked her twisted her words to mean something else. This has to stop for all candidates.
Posted by sandy on 8/26/2008 Kudos: 1 Censures: 1 I hope to God that she will be given a psychiatric evaluation. Anyone that makes up stories and lies and cries on cue is mentally unstable. We have had enough of the irrational Bush years and don't want any more.
Supporting Link: Posted by chrstn_zak@yahoo.com on 4/25/2008 Kudos: 13 Censures: 10 Hillary Clinton would make an excellent president, and I would vote for her if Obama were not running. If she shows ruthlessness in attacking Obama, she could get McCain elected.
Posted by Anonymous on 3/21/2008 Kudos: 10 Censures: 10 Hell No! All we would be doing is providing she and Bill an opportunity and a continuation of the Clintonian washington politics as usual. These people are liars, and of questionable character. What's the story behind Vinve Foster; the Mcdougals, WhiteWater, et al. Please, give me a break. These two are not to be believed!
Posted by madoyster on 3/26/2008 Kudos: 11 Censures: 12 It's obvious that Hillary is the inferior candidate when she is so inconsistent on her political views. Over the course of her political career she has never had one completely immobile stance on something, and has changed her opinions based on what the latest polls would have.
Posted by Anonymous on 4/20/2008 Kudos: 11 Censures: 13 I think that Hillary demonstrates a huge character flaw....she is a liar. How can you "misspeak" when it comes to something as serious as snipers firing at you while you are getting off of a plane? If a sniper was firing over my head..I certainly would remember it and if there never was sniper fire over my head...I could not get on national television and lie to millions of people that this had happened to me. I don't trust her...she is only out for numero uno...and that is Hillary.
Posted by pharm416 on 4/21/2008 Kudos: 11 Censures: 10 No, She will put a strangle hold on the necks of the american people with her manatory health care plan. It will be another pot of money to be mishandled, just like social security and medicade. and just like ss and med we will be asked to establish a back-up policy because there will be not a guarantee. I rather have a plan that is not manatory.
Posted by bluej on 3/21/2008 Kudos: 11 Censures: 11 bluejay, I was on milwaukee's talking a long time ago and I was given a chance to ask the people representing canada about universal health care. They have it. The only problem with that is they all want the same doctor. That can be changed using seperate insurance companies.Hillary is on our side.
Posted by sandy on 8/26/2008 Kudos: 1 Censures: 1 She has the ethics of GW Bush, which is an automatic "OMG, WHAT ARE WE DOING" alarm going off in my head. Hell, when you have to act like the person you have been attacking and despising for 7 years, something went wrong.
If you have to become what you despised to win, it isn't worth winning. You haven't changed anything but the name. A rose by any other name...
The lies, the deceptions, the spin, the ego, the bad policies, the poor judgment, the failures, and the Senate career built on renaming things just leaves me to think: political power seeker, but no real change from GW.
