Smart and determined, maybe. Coniving,liar, mostly. Sincere, I doubt he knows the meaning. As for giving his life for his country- the guy isn't dead. Old yes, but not dead yet. John McCain hasn't given anything without getting something in return, remember 150+ lobbyists- 10 Personal Residences in the US (all worth over $1 million a piece). He is not a veteran of combat, his lack of skill from lack of training because he was always partying landed him in prison through out the Vietnam War and so he has no experience there. He's been bought and sold so much his expiration date is open ended.

I find it strange that the country is ignoring the fact that McCain was one of the five senators (Keating Five) involved in the biggest savings and loan scandall in this countries history.He also was instrumental in decommisioning a base and getting it sold to a supporter for two hundred and fifty thousand dollars who in turn sold it for twenty million.I call that ccorruption!!!What would you call it????

I really like McCain as well and feel he has really earned the opportunity more than the others. Unfortunately, we seriously need change right now. This war in Iraq is killing our economy, not to mention innocent people. McCain supported the war in Iraq very strongly and many Americans have died for no reason. If you voted for Bush please don't make the same mistake again. Many people are suffering.
