Question: Should Barack Obama be president?
Argument for the "Yes" side
Barack Obama has a lot of political experience, and will unite the country rather than divide it. He'll also help bring our troops home safely.

What experience?! Short time in the Senate, little serious legislation, "knee jerk liberal" voting history in the Senate, minor elected experience in Illinois. His strengths were best displayed as editor of the Harvard Law Review - reviewing others' well-thought out arguments and picking the ones that he approved of most. As for unity, the kind of thing that (unfortunately) unifies all the people is outrage, like 9/11. Feel good speeches and theme songs inspire at the moment, but the glow wears off. We need more than "I believe!", and "I hope". If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride.

Oh!! First term as Senator is a lot of political experience? His speeches have been orchestrated and up until tonight were just empty words with no explanation. Tonight he still gave empty words quoting form MLK, JFK and he took from Hillary in their debates. He couldn't answer while she gave her plans but suddenly tonight he had the same plans. Given time he will be ready but not now!!!
