Question: Did the NY Times damage its own credibility by suggesting McCain had an improper relationship with a lobbyist? Argument for the "No" side It only gets a bad rap among the GOPers who hated it anyway as "liberal media". The rest of us got past the first 2 paragraphs and realized it wasn't about sex, but about a lifetime of improper relationships with lobbyists.
Republicans spend so much time saying abstinence that they repress their own urges and start focusing and finding sex everywhere they look.
Anything to detract from the real impropriety... the buying and selling of McCain as a lobbyist runs his Senate Office and they run his campaign.
