Was the recent ABC News debate between Obama and Clinton shallow and meaningless?

Instead of focusing on the real issues, the moderators spent half the debate re-hashing old and irrelevant issues, like why Barack doesn't often wear a flag on his lapel, his reverend's incendiary remarks, and Clinton's sniper fire comment. I couldn't stand it, I turned off the TV after 20 minutes of inane questions.

Posted by susan on 4/18/2008 Kudos: 35 Censures: 34 The media is focusing on issues that don't concern most voters, eg. the economy, soaring gas and food prices, the war in Iraq. Why spend valuable time during a debate questioning a candidate with issues that don't concern the voters???
