Do you think Hillary is getting good fair press coverage???
We would be winning if not for bad press coverage!

The media is typecasting both candidates and Hillary is getting more than her fair share of favorable coverage. She gets 24-48 hours of favorable media play before every primary and still needs Rush to get her over the top in popular vote in Texas, while losing the caucuses. They only show Barack as "fluff" while ignoring that Barack has given painful amounts of detail in his answers and justification just because the rest of his rhetoric is so far above hers. He beats her in experience and passed legislation, but they don't point out that FACT. They let her ride on "she is Hillary".
Posted by Anonymous on 3/5/2008 Kudos: 30 Censures: 25 I think both candidates are getting both positive and negative press coverage. And in all fairness to the press. They're only sharing what they feel we as voters need to know about our candidates. When running for office, especially for the highest position in our country, dirt is going to be dug up about all the candidates. The Clintons happen to have a lot of dirty laundry. The fact is, as Bill Clinton said, "if you can't handle it, then you shouldn't run". You can't one minute be totally for NAFTA, then have video of you cheerleading all for it.
Posted by Time4Change on 4/7/2008 Kudos: 27 Censures: 24 Hillary has gotten such favorable press it isn't funny. No wonder they call it the Clinton News Network. They consent to "35 years of experience" as if everything after college counts towards the Presidency. They treat her with fear because they know if they aren't nice to her, she will shut them out if she wins. They don't expose her Bush-like tactics or attitudes. They don't critically analyze her positions, her history, and they give her a pass for fear of being isolated by her camp.
Hillary would have been out long ago if her last name wasn't "Clinton".
Posted by polpartysuck on 3/4/2008 Kudos: 27 Censures: 31 Larry King, Anderson cooper and the rest of CNN always shoot down any argument infavor of Hillary. If America has such a fear of a woman's wrath, then why don't you just treat a woman with respect. America always lead the developed nations in many things but the country where women's movement is the strongest is one that is afraid of a woman leader. England had a woman head of state and I don't think she went around shutting things down, India, Israel are a few others that were led by women at one time or another to what it is today. Give women some respect.
Posted by tchellaram on 4/4/2008 Kudos: 32 Censures: 29 Sure, within the limits of the media. They completely ignore issues and focus on trivial personal stuff, and talk on and on without saying anything, and keep repeating. They pick out one thing they think we're interested in and won't talk about anything else, even when they have nothing to say about it. Remember the Olympic skaters Nancy and Tanya? A whole day or more about how Tanya got in her car.
Posted by Anonymous on 3/21/2008 Kudos: 28 Censures: 26 She has argued bias of gender from the start and she basically is not understanding to the fact the American people percentage wise do not trust her with their garbage let alone our country. She has shown dual personalities like the famous movie starring Joanne Woodward called The Many FAces of Eve.
Posted by jewel on 3/2/2008 Kudos: 30 Censures: 25 she's getting great press. Nobody wants to really expose her mess.
Posted by madoyster on 3/26/2008 Kudos: 27 Censures: 31 Yes... I believe she has had more than her share of great coverage, and I do not think she would have the 10% win in PA if it was not for the good coverage. I watch cnn and msnbc all the time, and I feel like you favor her. Always something good about Hillary and always bad about Barack, except for a few, like Jamal - he is wonderful. You have run the news of Rev. Wright and other "bitter" things into the ground on Barack, but I only heard a few days of Hillary's lying techniques. He is well ahead in every aspect, yet she gets the treatment of a forerunner. Something is wrong with this picture
Posted by sherryjohnstonwright on 4/23/2008 Kudos: 28 Censures: 26 Hillary Clinton was a fighter and the media characterized her as that person dirty tactics, finger-pointing and rambling of Bill Clinton to win this election. During this democratic run-off not once did she stop the mud throwing and frankly I was not impressed! It’s wasn’t the fact that she was a women , but how she ran her election campaign that shocked everyone and one of the main reason why she is “NOT” the presumed democratic candidate for the White House!

Not at all. The news media, for the most part is all for Obama-with very few exceptions. He doesn't need to spend campaign money on ads-just ask people to watch the news! If Hillary actually got the same level of positive press as Obama, she would probably lead the polls, as long as they were unbiased. Open your minds everyone! Hillary Clinton will lead this country to greatness if you give her a chance. She was in the White House, yes. Did she make all the decisions? No. Come on now- give her a break already. Judge her on her own merit and accomplishments.
Posted by Anonymous on 2/28/2008 Kudos: 24 Censures: 25 Anything Bill or Hillary say is repeated and repeated and repeated. The other candidate can do no wrong (except the one bad for Obama's wife basically stated this was the first time she was proud of America). If Senator Clinton had said that she would be critized. Instead everyone, including the press told us what she meant except her. I'm not sure if it would totally be the problem, but they defintely side with Obama.
Posted by flamingo53@embarqmail.com on 2/26/2008 Kudos: 26 Censures: 27 I don't think Hillary is getting fair press coverage at all. The media exsists to report the facts, not to tell us what we should think of the facts. Picking everything Clinton does apart and not bothering to do the same with Obama. How about the fact that Obama is the head of the sub-commitee on Afganastan and hasn't held one meeting about oversight because he's too busy campaigning? How against the war can you be? Clinton has been campaigning and still seems to be able to do the job she currently holds. Talk about multi-tasking.
Posted by Anonymous on 3/1/2008 Kudos: 24 Censures: 29 She has the press on her side and it makes me SICK!!!! All her interviews and debates you guys are showning them as if she is more all that!! Why don't you show some of her passed or have DICK MORRIS on your show? Or read on Huma Abedine connection? Why is Obama story always about his pastor, he has so much more to offer america and the american?

Posted by Anonymous on 3/1/2008 Kudos: 23 Censures: 23 Absolutely not!! I like both Obama and Clinton, but she has definitely gotten the short end of the bad-press-coverage stick. Television pundits have been outright rude and unprofessional whenever discussing Sen. Clinton, esp. MSNBC. The most notable example was during their last debate. When Tim Russert asked about the next Russian leader, Sen. Obama looked stunned. Sen. Clinton was correct in her assessment, and Sen. Obama latching on to her response. I didn't hear any pundits discuss that snafu. Had the situation been reversed, we would have seen continual reruns of that exchange.
Posted by bluzlvr on 3/5/2008 Kudos: 23 Censures: 30 Actually, I don't think it's the bad press coverage, but I think people still feel uncomfortable with women in power. I think over time things might change, but the current stereotypes are difficult to overcome, and it's not just due to men. I was just reading about it on the New York Times. Check out the article below:
Supporting Link: When Women RulePosted by macgyver on 2/13/2008 Kudos: 23 Censures: 27 Many in the media did not like Hillary before this campaign started. Her and especially Bill's comments have been distorted. Bill Clinton's long history of support for black causes and individuals is completely ignored as every comment is given a "racial" interpretation. Most commentators are "in the tank" for Obama because he is new, fresh, etc. Her command of issues is ignored in favor of his "coolness". He has so little experience that the endorsements are baffling! Lately, I have heard some commentators reluctantly give her credit for being "tough."
Posted by Anonymous on 5/2/2008 Kudos: 24 Censures: 21 the media has been helping obama from the truth behind the man, let's dig in his past like they have hers and let's see what all they learn.
Posted by Anonymous on 4/3/2008 Kudos: 30 Censures: 23 Is this just a fluke or is some one reading this text and deleting it as I write? Press is not what it was intended in the constitution that the forefather of this country envisioned. Freedom for Press here is ?now Freedom for Sale. Obama pays more money so you side him on every issue. CNN is not even ashamed to cut off anyone favoring Hillary. How much does press check into where all the obama money actually comes from. Who are these internet contributors? are they legit US citizens' money or are they funded by Externals elements, even if it is only a hundred a piece.
Posted by tchellaram on 4/4/2008 Kudos: 31 Censures: 24 . Why don't you for once take an honest look at Hillary and you might just see a very strong willed lady that didn't throw Bill out on his ear, but instead she decided that no matter how unpopular it was, she was going to save her marriage. Is it that most of you folks out there have forgotten that verse in your marriage vows that says for better or for worse until death and in the name of God I pronounce you man and wife?
Posted by Anonymous on 4/6/2008 Kudos: 23 Censures: 22 No, Hillary is not getting fair coverage. The media new about the Reverend Wright 6 months ago. It is wrong for any church to incite violence as I believe his church does. We can make a parallel between the Muslim religion and this church. The Muslims claim to believe in Allah as the one true God. The Muslim world and Obama's church would like to see America fall. Not once when ask did his church say when asked what Jesus was sent to earth for did they say "For The Forgiveness of Our Sins. How would the states he won vote now? My guess is Hillary would have enough delegates for the nomination.

Posted by OBIEMAMA on 4/11/2008 Kudos: 23 Censures: 23 Along with bad press, Hillary is also getting little press compared with Obama. Of late most of the press that mentions her is in context of her withdrawing from the race. Something I hope she won't do and suspect that as a strong women, always in the position to have to justify herself and her emotion, she won't. You go girl!
Posted by dla_daleevans on 3/30/2008 Kudos: 21 Censures: 26 VERY CLEAR SHE IS NOT GETTING FAIR COVERAGE, I AM GOING TO VOTE FOR OBAMA BECAUSE HE IS BLACK , BUT THE MEDIA IS FAILNG TO EVEN TALK ABOUT HE REALLY IS NOT A CHANGE FROM THE PAST HIS SUPPORT IS COMING FROM THE SAME GROUP
