Barack Obama is a celebrity, but to suggest he's anything like Paris Hilton or Britney Spears is just ridiculous. I think McCain damaged his own credibility here.

Even Kathy Hilton, who donated $4,600 to the McCain campaign, thought the ad was frivolous and a waste of time. It's tragic, her $4,600 donation to McCain went towards making an ad mocking Obama and her daughter.

Barack has dedicated his life to lifting people up and motivating people to take control of their lives by assembling, giving them more barganing power as a group against big companies who don't have the common person's well being in mind. Paris Hilton, on the other hand has been rich her entire life and has no idea what common people are going through in this country, neither does McCaine. That's why he compared the two. He just has no clue. He's rich just like Paris Hilton. It was inaccurate and inapropriate, maybe even immature.

well I guess the viewer did not understand the similarity it wasnt to say that barak is like britney but to say they are both famous that is all . and barak really is just a look and no substances at all

I thought the add made a very valid point. I know so many people who are 'star struck' with him and don't support him based on the issues, but rather because he's 'a star'.
