John McCain may not be the most decisive presidential candidate, in getting his point across and may not be completely aware of every aspect of what is happening in regards to social, political, and economical issues, but so are the other candidates. Look at McCain on the where he stands on the issues and his plan thus far and then Obama when you scrutinize how they plan to change the country and you'll see who is the better candidate. As I approach my 79th birthday, I am thrilled by the response to Senator Obama and will do everything in my power to see him elected as President. My reasoning is not something you will read in political blogs - nor on these pages. It is that - since JFK, we have had nothing more than political idealogues as President. They have done nothing to build on the spirit that encompassed our people in the days following the end of WWII. Their intent was not to "spread democracy" but to maintain their power base and get re-elected.

He's reaching out to moderates and independent voters. He's not as much of a liberal radical as Fox News would like you to believe.

Not the most skillful candidate,not the most impressive speaker,just an honest,smart, determined,sincere and productive Senator for many years. Senator McCain has given his life for his country.(You don't have to die to give your life for your country!) He is just a dependable, mature veteran of combat and of service. one politician who can't be bought. He is compassionate but tough. I will be proud and thrilled to vote for him to become our strong, sensible President.
